Political Career
Sardar Mehmood Qadir Khan Leghari has been active in local and provincial politics for many years, primarily associated with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Key positions and achievements:

Served as Tehsil Nazim (Mayor) of Dera Ghazi Khan.
Elected as Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) from PP-246 (Dera Ghazi Khan-VII) during the 2013–2018 term. He served as Parliamentary Secretary for the Chief Minister's Inspection Team (CMIT).
Elected as MPA from PP-289 (Dera Ghazi Khan-IV) in the 2024 provincial elections (18th Punjab Assembly).
